What can we help you with?
Happitech has completed three clinical studies one with Amsterdam Heart Hospital for detection of Atrial Fibrillation and two with VUMC - University of Amsterdam for Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability. 6 new clinical studying are currently being conducted.
Heart rate accuracy is 95% on the low-end model (97%+ higher on newer models).
Heart rate variability RMSSD has an accuracy of 86.7%
Happitech technology is based on the technology called PhotoPlethysmoGraphy (PPG) that measures light reflected in the blood. Blood absorbs light and each pulse increases the blood flow in the body and finger tips. It is therefore possible to keep track of changes in the heart rate by measuring the changes in light absorption.
It works on most popular devices in NL and UK.
For Android we support starting from version Lollipop 5.0 API level 21 for SDK, and Marshmallow 6.0 API level 23 for Module.
For iPhone side, we support iOS 9 and higher.
Our Module doesn't support Tablets
Happitech technology can be used for ages 18+ patients and intended for use by the general population specifically patients with known or suspected heart conditions and health-conscious individuals.
Resting heartrate as sign for life expectancy, general health, fitness levels, heartfailure patients, over 100 bpm problems, under 50 bpm problems, excercise tests
The heart rate variability use cases are: stress monitoring, employee wellbeing programs, Rrecovery fitness and surgery
The atrial fibrillation use cases are: ages 18+ Afib patients that have visited their cardiologist for diagnosis or monitoring of their condition. They are provided with the app to keep track of their health.
There are different populations for patients that could come in contact with Atrial Fibrillation. Patients who experience transient symptoms that may suggest cardiac arrhythmia. Patients who require monitoring of effects of drugs to control ventricular rate in various atrial arrhythmias (e.g. atrial fibrillation).
Patients with symptoms that may be due to cardiac arrhythmias. These may include but are not limited to symptoms such as a) dizziness or lightheadedness; b) syncope of unknown etiology in which arrhythmias are suspected or need to be excluded; and c) dyspnea (shortness of breath). Patients recovering from cardiac surgery or interventional procedures who are indicated for outpatient arrhythmia monitoring.
The atrial fibirllation use cases patients are:telehealth companies, hospitals, clinics, doctors can use the technology for various healthcare purposes measuring resting heart rate, measuring heart rhythm disorders and communicating this to their users and caretakers. Telehealth companies, hospitals, clinics, doctors focused on heart patients can use the Heart Rhythm SDK to measure presence of atrial fibrillation.
The results from the SDK is sent to the patient or the doctor depending on the designed patient journey. Heart Rhythm SDK can be used to assess rate control in patients in atrial fibrillation. Telehealth companies, hospitals, clinics, doctors can use the Heart Rhythm SDK– Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability results to detect elevated resting heart rate and lowered heart rate variability over time. The results from the SDK are analyzed by the telehealth company and are used to guide the patient.
Telehealth companies, hospitals, clinics, doctors helping to reduce stress by offering breathing exercises, heart rate variability is used to guide the users through the breathing exercises and to give a score based on their performance. The use cases, do not put the end user at high risk or urgent care.
